COLD START PROJECTOR [ CSP-9000]
 

INTRODUCTION

 

This is a micro-controller based system for monitoring the time, temperature and energy consumed by the furnace in a pre-heat treatment process. As the name suggests, it provides an output to control the flow of material in a heat treatment furnace, till the temperature in the furnace reaches the required set-point value.

It also computes the total energy consumed by the furnace through the 3-phase, 4-wire supply, from the start of a new process. It incorporates a real time clock battery backed to keep a track of ON time and OFF time ( during power failure ) of the system. It computes the power loss during the OFF time and accordingly switches ON / OFF the output till the energy loss occurred due to power failure, is delivered to the furnace again.
